Kathryn Beich Katydids Fundraiser Candy

One of the tastiest fundraiser candy products is Kathryn Beich Katydids, a delicious blend of caramel and pecans covered in high-quality chocolate. The popular Katydids are based on a recipe created personally by Kathryn Beich, the wife of Paul Beich who owned the Paul F. Beich Candy Company in Bloomington, Illinois. Here’s where to buy Kathryn Beich Katydids fundraiser candy:

The Katydids were so popular that the company started a fundraising division called Kathryn Beich Candy that sold the Katydids and several other quality chocolate bars made in their own factory. The company was sold in 1984 to the Nestle Company and then was sold again more recently in 2008 to Great American Fundraising.

Katydids are available in either a 7-ounce box or an 8-ounce tin for extra freshness. For candy fundraising, the minimum order is 2 cases of the boxed version (24 boxes per case) or 3 cases of the tins (12 tins per case).

Other Kathryn Beich candy available for fundraising are the $1 candy bars in a 1.5 ounce size. Available flavors are Chocolate Almond, Chocolate Caramel, Chocolate Krunch, and Dark Chocolate.

These fundraising candy bars are packaged in a 36-bar carry pack and there are two carry packs per case. These are a “straight pack” with equal quantities of each type of candy bar. Minimum order is 7 cases. Profit margins start at 40% and increase to 45% with orders above 23 cases. For orders of 56 cases or more, the profit margin increases to 50%.

You can also order the Kathryn Beich $1 candy bars in the “Chocolate Mart” packs. The pricing is still the same per bar, but there are more of the popular varieties and more in each carry pack.

The 40-unit carry pack includes Milk Chocolate Caramel (20), Milk Chocolate Krunch (12), Milk Chocolate Almonds (6), and Dark Chocolate (2). There are 4 Chocolate Mart carry packs per case for a total of 160 bars. Minimum order is 7 cases at 40% profit. 11 cases or more increases the profit margin to 45% and orders of 25 cases or more net 50% profit margins.

Kathryn Beich Katydids Candy and their other fundraising candy products have been popular for decades. They are one of those scrumptious treats that chocolate lovers can’t resist!
