Have your kids draw, paint or color a picture on any color or type 8 1/2 X 11
paper. Copy paper works really well for this step and so does construction
paper. Make sure that the kids sign their art because this is part of building
self-esteem. Creating pictures can be part of a classroom activity or an
independent project. You may want the kids to do multiple pictures so the
parents can choose their favorite. Parents will probably want a different
picture for note cards than they will for Christmas cards.
