Earthquake Relief Donations

It seems to be a year for major disasters. The earthquake that struck the Kashmir region between India and Pakistan has killed 20,000+ and injured 60,000 more.

If you want to help, here are some excellent earthquake relief organizations:

Reuters AlertNet is a good place to keep up with all the various humanitarian relief efforts around the globe.

Their motto is "Alerting humanitarians to emergencies".

MSNBC has a very interesting photo slideshow that shows the tremendous devastation wrought by this earthquake.

It's so sad to hear that thousands of school children were crushed when dozens of schools collapsed in the quake.

2.5 million people left homeless and winter fast approaching in the Himalayas. Very troubling...
